At its core, it's a very simple word game. But the ability to swap with other players and work together to score the most amount of points brings it to the next level. Wordweaver Adventures is a co-operative boss battle scrabble game set in the early 1800s.  Each player will pick a "Student" and travel the world learning from different "Teachers". Each "Teacher" has a score you're trying to beat to complete that challenge, and then you'll move onto the next one.  Each critter in the game, from your player to the Teachers, are all location and historically accurate for the time the game is set in, making for an adorable and educational experience. They have plans for expansions already and I can't wait to be able to get one and add to an already amazing game.   Geek Fest West: A fun convention for all things geek Geek Fest West is a  Games and Gaming convention hosted and run by Nathan Mumm with the goal "To bring people together through Games and Gaming".  Geek Fest West is a mash up of everything geek with a focus on board games, Trading Card Games, RPGs and Retro Videogames, it is filled with vendors, cosplay, indie game developers, tournaments, events and more.  It was really cool to be able to go and experience a local event with such a big turnout, meeting people who are passionate about the same things I am all sharing in the same experience, Seeing indie developers who are so passionate about their projects showing them to people and talking about their games while seeing the enjoyment on the guests faces. Pros: Its still a small local convention which means you get a much more personal experience at a much more affordable price tag, there was a good amount of vendors, from retro games vendors, artists, board game...
